How often should I perform backwash and rinse?
For most residential installations, we recommend backwash and rinse every 7–10 days. However, if your water source contains high sediment or appears murky, more frequent backwashing may be required.
When do I need to change the filter media?
On average, media such as silica sand, anthracite and zeolite should be replaced every 2–3 years, depending on water quality and usage. Our team can inspect and advise during scheduled servicing.
Which is suitable for my home – Stainless Steel or FRP?
Both are suitable for landed homes. Stainless steel is preferred for customers who want a premium look and higher durability, while FRP is a cost-effective option that is lightweight and reliable.
Do I still need an indoor purifier after installing an outdoor filter?
Yes. The outdoor filter protects the whole house from sediment and large particles, while an indoor purifier (such as K-1000) is used for finer filtration and drinking water quality at the sink.
Do you provide on-site service and maintenance?
Yes. Eaurich Trading provides on-site inspection, servicing, media replacement and troubleshooting for installations within Peninsular Malaysia. Service packages can be arranged based on your system.
